Ante-room to the Hall of Bright Carvings

This small ante-room outside the Hall of Bright Carvings is where Rottcodd sleeps during the night, and has his meals, which are brought up from the kitchens several stories below by a miniature lift.

The Visitor's Book is also here. On a shelf are stored the candles with which Rottcodd replenishes the candelabra in the Hall, and a stepladder is stored in one corner.

Beyond the ante-room, leading away from the Hall of Bright Carvings, passages lead to the staircase which curves down to the Stone Quadrangle.
