Flay

Man-servant to Lord Sepulchrave, 76th Earl of Groan, he shares the latter's taciturnity, though not his melancholy -- Flay is too rigid of mind for such emotions, his only passion is his service to Gormenghast, and especially to the Earl himself.

Flay is played by Christopher Lee in the BBC series
